Deshbandhu Power Plant Limited

Deshbandhu Power Plant Limited is a captive power plant situated in Kawadi, Charsindur, Palash, Narsingdi, Bangladesh. It was commissioned in the early 2000s when there was a scarcity of power in the country. The plant already has a generation capacity of 10 MW. This powerplant supplies power to a few of Deshbandhu’s own factories, which facilitate them to run the factory 24×7. That’s why they are not dependent on the national power grid. The feedstock of the power plant is natural gas. The company has the intention of increasing the plant’s capacity to 50 MW.
